Haha being notti =P I am blogging at work! I have decided to slack for the day as Amanda is on MC. Not that she's nasty and will bao dou me or what but cos she's sitting right beside me and I don't really wanna portray a "lazy" image =P HAHA not anymore! at least not for today!

I downloaded this taiwan drama 东方茱丽叶 (got wu zhun!!!!) and finished watching the last 2 episodes in office just now =P hehe but I sacrificed lunch time la =[ so techinically I wasted only 1hr of labour time of the company.

I'm ultra excited now and can't wait to knock off cos I've bought preview tickets for Pirates of the Carribean at GVmax! I love GVmax! The screen is ultra big with solid surround sound system and alot of leg space too! That is to say, if some1 wans to walk pass u, they'll jus nd to walk pass w/o
- saying "sorry, S-kills me"
- pressing their body against the row of seats in front of u
- gripping tightly to the back rest of the seats to balance themselves
- trying very hard but always failing to find "footspace" to step across to avoid ur foot and bags but end up always stepping on almost all of them

WooHoo so that's the beauty of GVmax!

Anw, I 'tried to' go for a jog yesterday nite although I walked for 10mins and decided to head home for tv shows, well what's new? =P I met my neighbour while waiting for the lift (can u jus imagine how lazy I was not to even wan to walk down the stairs for warm-up) and he actually gave me insights to the dangers I have exposed myself to all this while that I haf been jogging (ok fine not tt I jog alot but still, I have jogged b4 K!)

Yup he saw me listening to my mp3 and told me not to do that cos a boy staying in our block at dunno which floor got knocked down 1 yr plus ago. The boy was hooked on his mp3 (can't live w/o it)and was listening to it while crossing the road so he didn't realise that a car was approaching. He is now doing fine, have just started walkng, but his brains are permanently damaged!

Then my neighbour asked me again, "do u jog along or against trafic?" "erm, along." *Clap his hands very loudly* "Aiya wrong again! U muz ... ..."

Actually I can fully understand what he means and I really appreciate the fact that he bothers to warn me about such dangers which many pple tend to overlook.

Putting on earphones decreases your sense of hearing of the surrounding by more than 50% (can go up to 100% depending on how loud u blast ur music) and it will directly affect ur reflexes. Ur time taken to react will increase significantly because u can't hear! U are not forewarned about the dangers to come.

A very simple and over-used example --- u heard thunder before lighting strikes. Lighting can kill but thunder does not so u can see it as a warning sign.

I know because I was half-deaf for a period of time recently and the feeling really sucks! I can't hear pple clearly. I can't even defend mysef when pple are making fun of me cos I can't hear wad they are toking abt. I became very soft when I talk because I lost confidence and cos I kept hearing myself tinking tt I was loud. I even cry sometimes cos it was very painful and itchy! =(
