At Elkhorn library now but unable to update my blog with photos as my lappy just died on me. Using their workstation now. Sad =( I've got so much to talk about! I want to blog about my day off at the Indianapolis State Fair whereby I visited the downtown and also about the 4-day Chicago trip which I just returned from!

Wells guess I'll have to wait or I'll use WanPing's.

Pretty excited that I'll be going to Florida, Miami and Key West after the next fair at Nashville. What's more? Was told that we'll get a day off to shop at the outlet malls in Nashville! Heard that almost all the big brands are there =)

I bought a new net10 phone and it's the 1st time that I have to buy beauty products like face and foot moisturiser cos the weather here is too dry for my skin!



We got half a day off to shop at old navy and walmart and another full day off to shop at the mall! Bought 2 tees from wetseal cos i am running out of clothes to take photos in! Haha there was no tax for clothes! Happy =)

Working at Rochester fair! Our boss traded with another food stand and I got to drink really yummy strawberry smoothies, feast on tenderloins and chicken! OMG! They taste really good! Guess what? My appetite has really grown to fit that of a normal American so don't be surprised when I return to Singapore =P



The little girl is really cute! She is helping her parents at the food stand next to our lemonade stand and she's only 4 years old and really witty and talkative!



Next up will be Indianapolis State Fair!

WooHoo! I'm finally blogging again after a long long break! I'm so busy working and there isn't internet readily available in US which explains my long overdue entry. I'm practically working almost everyday from approximately from 11am to 11pm.

Departed on the 14jul08 from Changi Terminal 1. Hocky was there to send me off too! He followed me all the way till the boarding room ahaha the advantage of working at airport!



We were staying at New Yorker's Hotel for the 3 days that we were in New York for orientation. It's a great hotel I must say, with wireless in every room! Heard that the movie "Maybe, Definitely" used it for filming =)

Stacy and me arrived in NY 1st on 14jul night while WanPing and PeiYi joined us only on 15jul late morning. We had to attend orientation on the day following our arrival hence we couldn't wait for WP and PY. Basically orientation was only for a few hours of instructions and administration and the rest of the time was free for us to explore! Stacy and me went to apply for our Social Security Pass at Chinatown immediately after orientation and met the other girls later in the afternoon.

Stacy went to visit her uncle while WP, PY, some other fellow singaporeans and me headed to Central Park, the place where Enchanted is filmed and Charlotte from Sex & the City always jogs . Check out all the movie shoot locations!

This is the 2nd day in NY whereby we visited Statue of Liberty on the free ferry! WP and me managed to "zi pia" a photo with it! Haha =P Visited Times Square too! I went to Macy's, the largest shopping mall in NY by myself in the morning as Stacy went out with her uncle while WP and PY had to attend orientation!

We wanted to watch a broadway musical but ended up choosing a wrong show and watching a damn crap musical which all of us were totally damn sian cost it was a total waste of time and money hmph! Look as if we are clubbing right? We shopped at the nearby forever21 after that crap musical and there was so many things that were on sale and so cheap! I only bought a pair of sunglasses in the end, need to have self control to last the whole 4 months man!



Haha the best thing is Stacy and me met up with Justin in NY! OMG! We spend so much time in Singapore yet we nv did meet up and yet when we are in ny for only 3days (justin was only there for a night to transit), we manage to see each other! We met at the Mc Donald's opposite our hotel and guess what? A guy who was mugging at the table next to us identified us as fellow Singaporeans haha So funny heh! He is studying in Australia but was in US for exchange.
