What does love mean?
"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."
"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."
"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your French fries without making them give you any of theirs."
"Love is when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at them because you know it would hurt their feelings."
"Love is what makes you smile when you're tired."
"Love is when my mom makes coffee for my daddy and she takes a sip before giving it to him, to make sure the taste is OK."
"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared they won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do they still love you, they love you even more."
"Love is like a little old woman and a little old man who are still friends even after they know each other so well."
"During my piano recital, I was on a stage and scared. I looked at all the people watching me and saw my daddy waving and smiling. He was the only one doing that. I wasn't scared anymore."
"My mom loves me more than anybody. You don't see anyone else kissing me to sleep at night."
"Love is when mom gives daddy the best piece of chicken."
"Love is when mom sees daddy smelly and sweaty and still says he is more handsome than Robert Redford."
"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all day."
You really shouldn't say 'I love you' unless you mean it. But if you mean it, you should say it a lot else people forget... ...

Matters matter...
So many events have taken place since my last entry. So so many... Some are really simply fabulous while some I wish I didn't had to go through. But wells, that's life and I have got to face up to reality. A trip to the hospital made me think hard about life...
Shall upload pics of those happy moments soon =)
p/s: I would really like to thank this person, whom I don't think is going to read this and I can't name anyway, for sharing personal stories with me and had enlightened me in a very kind, caring and humorous way. I think you are really a nice person and I really hope that I can have a boss like you in future! =)
pp/s: I really really sincerely appreciate friends who have helped me through the tough moments, be it a listening ear or bitching or a lunch or efforts in helping me out. Yeah, makes me feel that I am loved.
my simple wish is just to be happy, hope that it's not too much to ask for...

Angela 張韶涵 Live @ Singapore 2008
Was at Angela's concert last night courtesy of tab('s friend) haha as she couldn't make it for the rescheduled concert date.
When I saw Angela Zhang last night, I was surprised that she did not look as skinny as she was on tv. I didn't know that this power-pack petite singer cum cutish actress had a heart problem and had to undergo surgery hence had to reschedule her concert from march to yesterday. Maybe that's why she put on weight as she is "well-rested". But I must say that she look really good with more "meat". Despite her illness, she still sang with a great voice. Hopefully she will recover fully =)
Here are some better quality photos that I took!
Opening...
dancing...
more dancing...
a duet with Fan Wei Qi
solo...
threesome!
cutish song~
lively!
this was really funny! Angela was asking the crowd for a guy to sing a duet with her and this joker spontaneously stood up almost immediately and demanded that he should be up on stage! *kowtow* to his courage and enthusiasm
in the end this guy in red cap was choosen instead, guess it's all pre-planned =\
slow track...
she was very emotional while delivering this song as she was thanking the people who helped and encouraged her during the most difficult time of her life! Her command of English is quite good =)
singing her hearts out...
interacting with audience...
encore!
a hip tune!
i love this photo!
to prove that I was there! =D
the concert ended pretty early, approximately 2hours. It was my first time watching a full-staged concert but I was pretty disappointed as I felt that the concert wasn't really impactful enough and the "rara-ness" element was missing from the crowd. However, I still have to give it to her for being able to deliver her songs with her powerful voice even after surgery although I realised that a few songs were lip-synced.
Took some videos her singing some of my fav songs... enjoy =)
Journey
Duet with Fan Wei Qi
Bu Xiang Dong De
Yi Shi De Mei Hao
