Phoah~ The check-in just now was really troublesome! It was so unlike the past where we can just walk straight to the counter, leave our luggage with them and walk into the departure gates!


Procedure for Everyone taking economy class

Step 1: Queue up to be "interviewed" face-to-face by a security personnel whereby he will ask you a series of questions e.g. your purpose of travel, what are you carrying in your hand luggage, why are u holding M'sia passport whe u r born in S'pore etc(haha wanping was asked tt qn but the guy said it was not part of the check, he jus wanted to know =P So funny! Imagine stern-looking security having the "kaypo" face)

Step 2: Proceed to check-in counter. Selected passengers have to bring ALL their luggages to the other side of the counter to be throughly screened ("searched") by another security personnel. Wan Ping happen to be one of the "lucky choosen ones" (Initially I thot that they will check everyone's luggage and I was so paiseh cos I placed my uh erm bras on top =P was hoping that a lady chk my stuff! Luckily I wasn't selected Teehee)

Step 3: Finally can enter departure HALL!

Hope that I will have a fun nice trip with lots of shopping~~

It didn't fail me =) I'm really glad...I have been wanting to watch this show for years since... since secondary school! after hearing the song Secret Garden by Bruce Springsteen with all the remix of movie lines in it! It's beautiful~

All the lines I heard in that song came out in the movie exactly how it sounded...

Was "cleaning" files from my computer, looking at personal pictures and videos (some really funny and brought back alot of happy memories) when I found this 3 shocking videos!!!

It was sent to me by my mafia cousin via bluetooth from his hp when I was in M'sia last year attending my younger cousin's wedding (also his sister).

Really appalling indeed... My cousin told me that it happens really often in M'sia schools and it's nothing suprising at all!

I feel that there's really something that we MUST do about this! I understand that it not only happen in Malaysia! It happens in many Asian countries such as Japan, Thailand and even SINGAPORE!

The very fact that these incidents took place in school and that the people involved are all students from an institution(be it from the same school or not) shows that there is a very LARGE WIDE BIG room for improvement in the education system!

Maybe it's time that we STOP concentrating on just improving the classroom environment of the top notch students and START looking into how should we teach valuable life lessons to these delinquents!

I really am.

SCORPIO WOMAN

I really happy that during this 3-month vacation, I have managed to catch a lot of shows that I had previously wanted to watch but had no time to. Jap dramas, movies esp those meaningful ones! I realise that I do like romance too! I'm a girl after all n_n

Yes! I've finally decided on this hostel in Hon Kong! It's called King Wah Hostel at Flat 1003, 10 Floor, Sincere House, 83 Argyle Street, Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Ok to keep it short. It looks happening:

I told u rite? The BEST part(don't know if it's good or bad) is that 女人街(Women's Street) and 波鞋街(Sports Shoes Street) is just infront of the building where this hostel is!

We can shop right thru the nite until all the shop close and not worry abt transport! =D N since it's on the 10th floor, we shd be able to see the HK city/nite life also rite? *ponder* Their twin room looks really cramp! Like NUS Raffles Hall =D wahaha

Wonder if it's a clean or sleazy hostel, keke maybe it will turn out to be a hotel81 of HK! It a mixed feeling cos I'm hoping to see Gu Huo Zai and his "niu"(ger)! On one hand I hope the hostel will be safe so tt wanping and I can slp in peace. On the other if I wan to see mafias and I really do see them hanging around the hostel, it wld not be considered safe anymore haha =P

OK rite... Quite clean although a bit small, no bath tube but hey dun complain! only SGD$60 per nite leh! =X

Yeah =D 4 more days to go and my internship at CEMS will end! Haha not that I dislike working here. I just hate 9-5 deskbound jobs. I do find this internship very fulfilling, really. I took on real tasks of marketing communications and it allowed me the opportunity to face what I would expect when I step out into the working world in one year's time! It gave me the chance to decide if I want to apply for a marketing communications position when I graduate and also put me to the test of self-discipline, waking up in time for work. Unlike in school, we don;t have the choice

Of course there were some other little unexpected "benefits" such as having one room to myself! *chuckles* Make me feel like a GM (General Manager) or CEO Haha and my colleagues will always make fun of me by knocking on my door before stepping in. This is good! Why? Because it made me realize how much I would want a private room to myself which means I will have to work hard to rise to a high position in the corporate world before being assigned my own office room which subordinates comes knocking everytime they need me to sign on documents! Like those you see on TV ahaha =P Oh maybe by that time I am already a mother of 3 kids, driving a Lamborghini and sipping high tea at Raffles Hotel with other TaiTais or my beloved Bimbo babes!

Well everyone say that you must dream before you can acheive right? So here I am day-dreaming la! *_*

Anyway, a local company chose my blog to place an ad. You can see it at the sidebar right beside all my blog entries under "Community Ads" below my profile "The Princess". They have a Skyscraper Banner there! You can click on it to visit their website! I'm very nice ok! =) I place their ad quite high up on my sidebar so that it's more visible to people visiting my blog! Anw, I visited their website myself also. It's actually a shop at Far East Plaza that rents out box spaces for anyone to sell any new products that they want to.

Looks familiar? Think I visited this shop before =) I read about this concept when I was in primary school from Friday Weekly (星期五周报). Wonder if it's still in publication. I remember feeling very excited to receive the newspaper from my Chinese teacher every Friday cos I love reading it. It's quite a good news paper for primary/ lower secondary students as the articles are interesting and the usage of Chinese words are managable. One of the articles I remember reading was about this concept of renting out shelf spaces to owners of toys/figurines to allow them sell off their collectibles if they no longer want to keep it. If I'm not wrong, rental is fairly reasonable or they charge a percentage of your revenue. Now the concept has expanded to include clothes and accessories! Take a look if you are interested to rent a box or looking to make a purchase! =D

9 July 07 Seoul Garden Buffet
Went for my long-awaited BUFFET! @ Seoul garden.

Been wanting to go for a buffet to stuff myself after the low-standard food served during Arts Camp. No offence! I understand that food is a common problem/disaster for any camps.

Guess I'm getting old...Can't seem to eat as much as I use to...Haha maybe now it's time to change my diet... Appreciate high quality food and not emphasize any importance on quantity! Yeah I tink I would prefer eating very nice food with small serving rather than fill my stomach with junk! You live only such a short life, treasure every meal that you eat! Remeber that only good food deserve to digest in your stomach!

Someone Special In Life

To some special people searching for that unique person in their life. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion and the romance in a relationship and find out you still care for that person. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who means a lot to you, only to find that it was never meant to be and you just have to let go.

When the doors of happiness closes, another opens but often times we look so long at the closed door that we don't see the one who has been opened for us. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever find.

It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives.

Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back! Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours.

There are things you'd love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would like to hear from, but don't be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from his heart.

Sounds good rite? But hor... Hmmm very bad cos 27jul we can't get a room at Dorsett cos it's full booked =( haf to ask if wan ping is ok with alternative lousier hostels which are cheaper!

Looks decent rite? And it cost USD40 per night only! Which is appro SGD$60 per nite shared by 2!

Muz see if Benny agrees to it cos he said that some hostel at Tsim Sha Tsui Nathan Rd isn't that safe! Stupid travel agent! Hmph!

I think most of you must have seen or heard about the news of a 55 year-old women not being issued free drinks at St. James on ladies night. How sad! WHY? It ain't nobody's fault that the society discriminates the elderly people and it ain't no nice being rejected. So how do we go about pleasing all? Answer: No way!

Admit it! You got pissed off by the inefficiency of old folks before!

Yeah, the sad truth is that there's no way! As long as men still pay for cover charges on ladies night, there's no end to people screaming "UNFAIR!"

I heard from my freinds that transvestites whose id still indicate Male as gender have to pay for cover charges too!

To make things worst, bouncers issue free drinks base on WHAT?! how the ger looks! Pretty - 5 drinks, Ugly - 1 drink! What's the theory behind this? U mean ugly gers drink less cos drinking makes one ugly and pretty gers can afford to be uglier cos they are pretty to start with? BULLSHIT! This is one unfair practice worst than sweatshops! Looks discrimination! Aha! Little Jizmine got her own bike licence bcos of this! If u din noe, guys with bike can only haf one pillion so if they need to choose a ger among a grp of gers to send home, U know how they choose? The chio gers will always get to hitch a ride while the not -so-chio ones, share cab lor! Damn!

But let's tink of it this way too! There's a saying that goes "There's no ugly women in the world, only lazy women" It is quite true! How people present themselves affects the opinion of others on them! With make-up and dressing-up, a plain Jane can be a Princess too! Really!

However, how do we deal with age? We can't cover it with make-up and neither can we afford botox that often. Do we just allow ourselves not to be issued free drinks then?

From what I know, a lot of couples are either getting hitched or holding their wedding dinner on that day because it's 070707 easier for guys to remember! Ok y do I say guys? Cos gers are more meticulous and they'll normally remember dates of special occasions! Oh mayb I shd have one date that's easy to rem too cos of my poor memory!

But wait! That means I'm only left with 080808, 090909, 101010, 111111, 121212!
080808 - sure alot of Chinese like cos Chinese love 8! I dun mind but it's too early la harlow! I've jus graduated and would probably be in US participating in Work & Travel yeah!
090909 - sounds good! Chinese quite like it too cos it represents everlasting (JIU3)! By then I would have been 23 years old, experienced working for close to a year and become tired of it and it's time to prepare for Tai Tai life $_$

Finally had the chance to meet up with Nelson, Hao Qiang and Felicia. Haven seen them in ages!!!

Nelson used to be my "Shi Fu" you know! He taught me how to make bubble tea and cook pearls =P WaH~ thinking of bubble tea with pearls make me drool~

Met Nel and Qiang for dinner at Seah Inn (HabourFront) after work! Haha was having craving for duck rice! After which we head down to bugis for some arcade while waiting for Fel! Haha and I saw this:

Cos we sang in hall i.e. no rooms, we had to wait for our turns to sing(thr r other pple singing in hall too!). Feeling bored, I kept looking at their ads on the monitor to amuse myself haha

5 July 07 - OG outing "Transformers"
Finally had an OG outing! Oh but thr's only few of us, 4 freshies, 3 laolaos Haha realized that our OG is very "happening". Some involved in camps, rag or are overseas. It was a nice show but the transforming and fighting part sometimes gives me headaches cos it's zoomed in too near to the actions and I have got to have sharp eyes to capture all the actions!

On the last day of Arts camp, I rushed back home straight after the circle of friendship was done! Haha I like this part the most cos it's the only chance I get to see each and every freshie up close! *Hint Hint*

Haha I brought xiao xiao stitch and mei mei to the preview too! I was so exhuasted from the camp that I fell aslp during the military part in front! Aiya that one not impt one la! Every yr also the same chey! N i can't even understand wad commands they r shouting, might as well take this opportunity to recharge abit for the nice show ltr!

ok but guess wad? The gun and bomb or wadever military equipment tt they are using are so freaking loud that it woke me up!

It's my first time trying the main course and everything is nice! Rosti(1st time trying), grill fish, spring chicken, crepes and lastly waffles!

The total bill was like $40 after some discount! Cool =D


I've decided to go to HK for 6days 24jul to 30 jul cos cos cos wkend flights are quite pack! This will give us more time to shop and even go to guang zhou and macau! Yeah =D

Went for a full pedicure session this afternoon during lunch break at Polished Divas! (haha =P opps of course I took a longer lunch period) It is located at Bugis Village on the 3rd level and the ambience inside is really good!

I was asked to sit down at the black leather chair you see in the pic. Don't be fooled by it's look! I know that it look just like any beauty salon chair but it ain't no way normal! It's a Massage chair mind you! *1st Wow!*

THe lady then pass me a drinks menu and asked if I would like to get any drinks. At first I thought to myself "wah, they are so smart! Can earn from all these extra services. Normally people wouldn't mind getting a drink if they're really thirsty! The drinks here must be quite ex! Places like this always jack up price de! Hmph" I was about to put away the menu and reject the idea of a drink when suddenly! I saw COMPLIMENTARY DRINKS!!! and there was no price on the menu *2nd WOW!*


By the way, I ordered a glass of apple juice and it was nicely chilled =) feeling very satisfied! Now wad's tt device doing beside my apple juice? Yes tt's rite! Following which after my drink is served, the lady pass me a catalouge to choose the movie I want to watch while she pamper my feets! The titles are fairly new e.g. the pursuit of happyness


I've watched some of them and reckoned that I can't finish the whole movie for the entire pedi session so just pick a lousy movie to keep me occupied. *3rd WoW!*

The rest of the scrubbing, cleaning and a little bit of massaging I shan't go into details but I feel that their service is really good! And it's a total different experience from other nail bars! They make you feel very pampered like a princess! The fact that they keep diva here diva there really makes me feel like a Diva =P And so how much did I spend you may ask?

Amazing right? What's the best part? If you chip your nails within 3 days! You can go back to them and they will mend it for you FOC!!!! *4th WoW!*

Girls, I really think you can give it a try if you have been visiting nail bars with bad services but almost the same price or even more ex!

Just got back from Arts Camp 2007 last sat and sitting in the freaking cold office right now as I'm typing this! I'm getting really sick of work! Can't imagine that I'll have to work for the rest of my life in 1 year's time! Oh no... I don't wanna graduate =( If not, if not... Erm I don't mind being a Tai-tai after I graduate? I just don't wanna work *whine*

Anyway talking about Arts Camp, it's quite a mixed feeling which I can't really explain =P Hmmm initially when I was back in school during day 0, I had this very strong feeling of "displacement"...I dunno but I just feel really old and can't seem to get tuned to the frequency of the going-year-2 councilors. Haha kept complaining to Euming (my ogl who is also going on the year 3) that we are getting old... Hmmm on that night I thought to myself: it will change once I meet the freshies tmr!

Chong Han was as funny as ever! Slpt beside him on cardboard on day0 nite and he's really funny la! Wadever he says i'll just uncontrollably laugh! Really! I can still remember that I have liked him ever since when I first came to uni! It's not those romantically like but those "think he's very cute" kinda like! Indeed he is cute and he's Hock's best buddy too! =) Hmmm but i stop liking him already cos he slapped me on the bus back to EH from mini bash @ DXO! Ok although I know it's jokingly hit kind but I just dun like the feeling of being slapped on the face even if it's a joke (it's a little painful btw! =P)

One most embarassing moment of the camp was when I was announced to be the best female councilor of R house! I was like "WAD? Did u read the wrong name?" Cos seriously seriously! I am so ashame of myself throughout this camp! I put in the least effort tt I ever could! i overslpt for 2 mornings, I did not bother to rem all the freshie's names in my OG, i scolded one of the freshmen cos he refuse to learn the cheers properly, i didn't interact much with the freshies, i din act "chor lor" bimbo and funny for them! All inall, I just didn't give them wad they deserve yet I was the WAD? BEST councilor r u kidding me? Even so, I'm happy that Chong Han thinks so highly of me, i'm touched.

During the last day while watching the camp video, I can't explain ybut i just felt like gg for the nx camp to relive the memory =P Haiz... Humans are emotional creatures! I wrote a letter for Jeremy and XinYu(but very sad cos day 0 I cldn't find her and din pass to her until now! during camp she's toobusy or i dun haf it wif me) and I gave jeremy a RaRa(my OG name) tee cos i heard from Hock tt PDs are very lonely cos they got no house or og Ahaha

AH~~ I'm dying in office! The aircon is fresking cold and I'm having a bad flu! I felt really reluctant to wake up this morning for work and now I can't wait to get out of the office! How I wish I can be overseas now... Hmph! Toking abt overseas! The online travel agent still hasn't confirm my travel reservations with me! I'm so angry! It's only few more weeks before I'll see Benny in Hong Kong! Wah~ I miss HK...all the good food and cheap shooping =P Wong Wan Ping U better go and plan where we shd visit ok? keke >_<

And I'm getting excited abt my Hawaii trip already! The good news is that the company has decided to increase their budget for me to travel there! Yeah! Then i can worry less about accomodation and air tix! My sis and I haf decided to book a package(ard $2k nett each) I noe it's ex but i tink it's better as it's our 1st time thr and we do not really noe wad to do and whr to go! Booking a package save us alot of trouble bcos they will show us ard for 3 days and 1 day free and easy! Moreover, I checked that the air tix alone already cost like $1.4k! Hotels are like $200 per nite.

Another exciting point is that we have decided to visit Taiwan for 3 days during our return transit! Yeah! It's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone! Both of us had wanted to go visit taiwan for such a long time! Finally the opportunity is here =)


Hong Kong, Hawaii, Taiwan n_n What more can I ask for?
