Dengue? Where is my privacy?

" Dear Residents

Please note that there will be a concerted fogging on the Hall premises at 6pm today, (25 September 2007) involving TH, EH and Neo Pee Teck private residents. Along with the concerted fogging, we would like to organise a concerted Baygon spraying in the residents' rooms from 4.30pm to 6pm today.

We wish to inform you that Master, Resident Fellows, JCRC and student leaders and office staff will be going round the blocks from 4.30pm to 6pm today to supervise the spraying of the rooms. Every student is encouraged to spray their own rooms with the Baygon issued by the office from 4.30pm to 6pm . For those who are not around during 4.30pm to 6pm, your room doors will be opened for the work to be carried out. This will be done under the supervision of the Resident Fellows, JCRC and student leaders and office staff. In this regard, we will urge you to come back to your room by 4.30pm today where possible to help to spray your room in this concerted effort to rid ourselves of the mosquitoes.

In addition, please take note of the following :

1. Cover all food in your room and to close your window during fogging which would end at 7.00 pm

2. You may leave the Hall premises during fogging from 6pm to 7pm, or if you prefer, remain in your room .

3. Keep your laundry, especially those left in the drying yard.

Hall Office "

That's as good as stripping you naked in public because they suspect tt you're possesing illegal weapons.

And what did they call it? concerted Baygon spraying )(^#$% WOW!!!

I'm quite unhappy about such an arrangement bcos
1stly we were only informed at the last minute. How do you expect us to make arrangements? What about those who are overseas like myself? Do I have to specially return to participate in your BAYGON CONCERT?
2ndly, we're treated as if we're in the hall's mercy - they can have access to our rooms anytime they wish. We paid for rental of the room for one semester mind you! N i believe tt means we haf the exclusive right to tt room! Y can any RF, Master and student enter my room jus like tt w/o permission?

Joke of the day:
Was walking towards YIH Subway when I accidentally overheard one HIMBO sentence from the conversation of a bunch of guys. One of them is my fren's ex bf and I believe tt they stay in EH cos he was wearing EH tee.

*busy talking about fogging which i din pay attention to...

"Hey they fog the place alrdy then whr the mosquitoes fly to ah?"

OMG! TT's a priceless statement! Man, I nearly died hearing it! WAD! THEY FREAKING DIE WHEN U FOG THE PLACE LA PLS! tt's the beauty of fogging! TO GET RID OF MOSQUITOES!!!!! My god u sure u'r an undergrad of NUS?

maybe tt's y he's an ex!? my fren is like how zai a gf la!
