10. You've forgotten your ex

More often than not, a breakup is followed by a significant amount of time spent thinking about your ex and wondering whether or not you made the right decision in going your separate ways. Depending on how long the two of you were together, these doubts can resurface again and again.
Ever since you met this new one, however, the thought of getting back together with your ex is the furthest thing from your mind. Come to think of it, you barely recall what you found so great about her in the first place.


9. You can't stop thinking about her

Instead, you are consumed by thoughts of her. She just pops into your head for no apparent reason, and you wonder if she thinks of you half as much as you think of her. You wonder what she's up to and even consider calling her (but refrain from doing so for fear of looking overeager).

If she's the last thing on your mind before you go to sleep and the first thing on your mind when you wake up - and you've even dreamed of her on a couple of occasions - then you don't really even need to read on to know if you're in love (but should anyway, just to be sure).


8. You care about her

There is a reason why you don't really want to know too much about the chick you had a one-night stand with: You don't love her. When you're in love with a woman, you want to know all about her: who she is, what she thinks, what makes her laugh. You truly care about her and her feelings.

If you truly love a woman, you feel bad if she had a bad day or is upset about something. You don't try to cheer her up because you have to, but because you can't help it.


7. You find her quirks charming

The fact that she carries her passport with her everywhere she goes '- just in case -' and that, when she's eating, she can't help but construct every forkful so that it's the perfect blend of ingredients fills you with an inexplicable feeling of happiness.

She does and says things that make her different, and you like it. You can't quite put your finger on why, but it doesn't even matter. You like her just the way she is.


6. You have great chemistry

You can't be in love with someone that you have no chemistry with. If you seem to always be on the same wavelength, and think in similar ways, that's a great sign. If you also generate enough heat to set off a five-alarm fire bell, then she is probably someone that you could fall in love with, if you aren't there already.


5. You don't notice other women as much

Did you see that gorgeous blonde that just walked by? What do you mean, "no"?!?

Although you can't help noticing a beautiful woman when one walks by, when you're in love, some of them tend to slip under the radar, while others just pale in comparison to her. Furthermore, you don't seem to be flirting half as much as you used to.

You are slowly realizing that she's often the only woman in the room that matters, and for some reason that suits you just fine.


4. You love spending time with her

This one is pretty obvious but important nonetheless. You look forward to seeing her, and don't care much about what the two of you will be doing. Lately, just going for a walk with her sounds like the best way you could possibly spend an evening.

Furthermore, when you're not together, you miss her and wish you were spending time together


3. You don't mind compromising sometimes

There was a time when it was your way or the highway, but with her it's different. Not that she asks you to, but you don't mind missing a night out with the guys to be with her. And you find yourself trying to incorporate her into your plans or altering them to accommodate her.

You also find yourself not putting up a fight when she wants to go to Shakespeare in the Park. Although your friends find this very amusing, you know that deep down, they wish that they had found a love like yours.


2. Other priorities take a back seat

You used to train religiously, but lately, if she's free for dinner, you don't mind missing a workout. Not only that, but your workaholic tendency of bringing home your work on weekends to get ahead seems a bit excessive to you as of late.

Your ever-important "to do" list seems quite stagnant these days, as being with her always manages to render your other plans and obligations obsolete. What was it that you absolutely had to do by four o'clock again?


1. You start thinking about the future and she's in it

It used to be that the future with a woman meant your date on Saturday night, but with this woman, the future seems infinite. Not only do you plan to see her this weekend, but you want to see her a year from now as well.

When planning your next vacation, you know you want to spend it with her, and not a random beach bunny you happen to meet while you're there. And when you get an invitation to a wedding that takes place three months from now, you ask her to be your date without thinking that it's too far away to tell if you'll still be together.

She's the one

If you are currently dating a woman that makes you act in any of the ways mentioned above, then you, my friend, are seriously falling for her. It's time to put away the little black book for a while and enjoy the ride.

Yup this is part of fund-raising for the overseas community project that I've involved in this dec!

A team of 17 of us are heading to cambodia to conduct a camp for the children there! We're raising funds for the youth centre there!


Hmm I was the car wash ic for 1-6pm! tt explains y i'm holding on to the board... Nd to approach pple to ask them to let us wash their car in exchange for a $10 donation.

Actually I felt quite bad, I only helped a little in the actual washing cos I was busy taking orders. I thot washing is the tougher part but u nd someone with clean hands to do admin right? I jus happen to b the one =P

It's quite tough to get some drivers to allow us to wash their cars one k! Muz bug them =P One of my specialty =D

Anw, I managed to sell away 2 tees for those who din wash their car. One is a mum waiting for her kid. She said she didn't mind washing but her son will be meeting her soon so I suggested tt she purchase the tees for a good cause and she gladly agreed =) Nice!

The other one... hmmm ahaha was FORCED!!!! Tt stupid Joshua MashmalLOW who "kinda caused" me not to be able to join the karting competition. He's so lucky to meet me la, if not he wldn't haf bought such a nice tee =P Ahaha He actually rejected my fren in the morning to wash his car and when he came bk in the afternoon, he met me! No running away this time! He's really damn drama and funny la. I had to pester him to buy the tee and he kept saying he has no money (like I'll believe -_-) and shouted "Help! Molest Help! Molest" in the car park! #$%^&*()(*&^%$#@ Pls wake up his idea la! Who in the right mind wld molest him. It will seem to other pple more like he's the one molesting ME! Well... for the sake of fundraising, i've to endure his crap =P

Arranged with my big fat Kor and Jie over sms tis afternoon for a nice dinner place jus now and we finally decided to eat at this industrial place between Yishun and Sembawang. Look at the food...

Luckily thr's a typo if u din realise by now! the "If" is suppose to be "He". Oh no i hope he din catch the real meaning.

However... Uh umm ltr on in the car while my bro was sending me back to hall, he asked "eh tmr u gg clubbing ah? So happening nv jio me and ur dao sao go? I nd a break from the kids man" I was like "OPPS =P" Imagine if I had sent it to my dad? (#$%^&*(@#$ That's it! NO MORE ALLOWANCE UNTIL THE YEAR OF THIS YEAR!

Hmmm cld still rem the 1st time when I went clubbing, it was aft jc prom nite and I told my dad tt i'll be staying out for the nite at Stacy's house and going clubbing. Woah! I can't imagine tt i actually told him and Guess wad? He not only allowed me to go and gave me 50 bucks to spend in case I wanna buy drinks! =D How Upz rite?

Oh and tt's not all! When I came home, he asked me how was my clubbing experience, was it fun etc. I said "No, the music is v loud and noisy" (BTW, ms jizmine was a ugly fat nerdy outcast way bk in jc... okie at least half is really true.) Clubbing was not my cup of tea at all as my hobby was doing F.maths qns, wearing calf-length skirt to sch and sitting alone during lect. Well, coming back to my dad, U noe wad he said to me?

Jialing says we'r wasting $ cos we dun eat hall dinner at all (i tink i ate hall dinner for 3 times only) I have more breakfast kakis than dinner ones - Neighbour Ping(the one wid the most determination! "Best Breakfast Kaki" award goes to her! She only ps me one time! Ahaha ), JiaLing(er hmm most of the time haf to da bao for her cos she will always haf "unexpected" morning-only headaches or unable-to-open eyes difficulty), HuiJie(only when i ask him too! He's a pig! Even if he wans to eat, he'll still wait for me to invite him 1st)


But life's so short =( Why torture yourself with sub-standard food? Enjoy to the best of your ability while you still can =)

Well sorry to tt gross word as the title but words really can't describe how I felt today, REALLY! I'm happy on one end and frustrated on the other. Why? Arrgh how I hope I can happily blog abt wad happened from ytd until today accompanied with nice pics tt I took >=(

NeverMind!!!! I'll do a reverse, starting with wad happened jus now and backtrack to ytd. Maybe I'll be happier and less grouchy.

P/S: Anything written aft this does not represent me at all when i'm normal! It's a spurr of moment, grumpy, frustrated, irritated and PMS-ing Jasmine who nds an avenue to rattle, to be a mean ger and bitch abt anything tt she can. Period! Alrite?

Story:
I was suppose to meet my sec sch frens for gathering jus now since we haven met for ages! But alot of them kinda can't make it at the last min. One of them was sick, she din even attend her driving lesson. Another wasn't feeling well and had some prob wid her phone. One of them is super troublesome, wanna act impt and jus wanna noe whr we'r meeting but will not come for fear tt she'll kana suan by us, said she'll drop by if she can which is super bullshit. Another left for Genting cos she had to replace a fren down wid stomach flu and can't cancel the package. WTF! It's only to gather 7 pple, I can't imagine more! I'm a bad organiser, yes I admit it. Get someone better to organise la! BIG DEAL! Ok fine, i can understand tt everyone has a life and our schedules jus have to clash so badly! I can also understand tt going to genting is more exciting than meeting up wid 6 other gers whom u will haf a chance to meet agn. I would haf gone ahead wid the trip too! Furthermore, it's half price, why not? I can also understand tt when ya sick, u jus feel like nua-ing at home. I can also understand tt if u'r gonna get suaned by 6 other pple whereby 3 are really nasty (whom incls urs truly), you dun wish to turn up too!

Siew msged me to ask if I wanna go shopping in the afternoon, seeing tt so many of them cln't meet. I decided to call off the whole damn thing and jus go shopping wid siew. However, weifen aka sandie still wan to meet only if it's only wid me. N shiying said she cld make it too! But on the other hand i've alrdy agreed to meet siew. Finally, i decided to meet siew at 4pm to shop at vivo 1st and meet the other 2 ltr in the evening or sth. I thot sth along tt line wld jus wrk out fine.

Actually when I met siew, i had a bad feeling tt sth will go wrong ltr cos I'm gonna meet my other frens n I know tt I can't handle 2 grps of pple at a time. Split attention is jus not my style, I'm devoted k! Turns out to be tt i'm right! Holy cow! Can't I be wrong sometimes?

Shortly aft reaching Vivo and shopping ard wid siew, the gals called and ask when can I meet them. I haf alrdy told them beforehand to meet 1st and I'll be meeting them ltr. Yup, actually siew's intention was to purchase a b'day gift for me hoping tt i'll see sth tt i fancy while shopping with her and she'll buy it for me. Maybe cos we've known each other for such a long time and are so close tt she told me every intention of hers, even the budget she had in mind. I nv had such a bad time shopping for a present b4! I had to look at things only within tt budget and nothing more. If it's over tt amt, I'll haf to top it up myself. Wad's the use of partially paying for a present meant for urself? Wldn't it defeat the purpose and meaning of a present? Having to work ard tt budget is really tough, wad I really liked was beyond the budget and those within the budget are really not impressive. There was a pt of time tt i nearly wanted to ask her to jus get sth based on wad she tink i'll like. But finally, we found something nice:



Sweet looking rite? Siew bought tis for me as b'day prezzie. I fell in love with 3 pairs of shoes actually! Sheese din know DMK had so many nice designs. In the end I bought one of them myself:



I decided to give tt last pair a miss cos it makes me look bimbo. It's a red pair of shoes. Heh shd haf bought it since it's really difficult to find shoes tt u like and u look nice in nowadays plus it's on SALE!

Ok the disgusting part comes in here. Sandie was super hungry and they called me to meet them while I was at DMK. They wanted to eat at HabourFront Sakae which was jus a few doors away. BTW, do u know how much I HATE sakae? Their quality of food suck to the core! U will noe wad i mean if u ate at sushi teh and ichiban boshi b4. Anw, Siew alrdy noe tt I was gonna meet them and she was ok wid it. I had also promised to have dinner with her aft having a chat with tt 2 frens. It seem tt she wanna go get some stuff on her own too. Tt was like 6plus 7pm.



At abt 7.20pm, Siew called to say if I'm ready to meet her. Of course not! The gals are having dinner and I dun tink u can finish dinner in like half an hr? So i told her tt i'll most prob be done at abt 7.40pm. I cld hear on the fone tt she was very sian and kept saying "huh..." kinda implying tt i'm taking too long. Ok i noe tt it feels quite sian to be alone but BUT but I hardly meet up with tis gals and I jus wanna spend some time catching up! It's not even for an hr! It ended up tt i met her only at 8 plus cos the 3 of us started cam-whoring, wad's new? we'r gers!

We had some miscomm over sms on whr to meet, she waited for me at macs and left aft passing me the shoes and a slice of tiramisu from Bakerzin. Cld tell tt she wanted to haf a mini candle-blowing session wid me cos she prepared a candle and lighter. I tried to ask her to stay so tt we can haf dinner together but she was firm on heading home. I let her. Mind you I didn't eat dinner cos I thot i was gonna eat wid her as promised k!

Yup tt's it... We had a "cold war" I'm pretty upset abt it la frankly speaking cos it's not the 1st time tt i've mishandled such a situation and make her feel left-out or alone. But sometimes it's really not within my control!!! Anw, I joined Sandie and Shiying ltr on to continue cam-whoring plus eat e tiramisu and do the candle-blowing session as suggested by them so tt i dun waste siew's effort. When I saw the state tt e tiramisu was in, I felt quite sad... it has alrdy melted, which means tt it's out of the fridge for some time. I wld haf hoped tt e person who planned tis had the honor to experience it too! But it's jus too bad tt things go wrong. I took some pics so tt i can mms siew tt i did enjoy her cake even though we were in the "unfrenly" mode now...

Overall, I'm jus really affected by Siew's incident, I did mms her to thank her and related to her my feelings... She replied to me and told her side of the story too! We'll see how it goes... Dunno wad to do now...I mean I can't blame myself and neither can I blame her! It's jus bad timing =(

On the other hand, I'm really happy to catch up with old buddies and update each other abt our lives! N i'm happy to receive siew's present too! The present really met it;s objective! It's sth tt I like and it's within her budget =)

The disaster did not jus end thr... When I first reach Vivo wid siew, we saw a roadshow at the atrium selling travel luggages and I saw one tt i really liked alot! It's really pretty and I really wanted it. Siew thot it was really nice too but it was off her budget, she suggested tt i top up the remainder but as I haf said, a present shd be a complete gift so i decided to give it a miss =(



It's nice rite? only $70plus and it's quite big. The best part is tt it comes with a 5years warranty!!!! for the handle and wheels if i din rem wrongly. Tt's damn gd la! Imagine China Airline spoils my luggage handle again? I can replace it for free! (Feel really really bad to damage Stacy's luggage handle =( It's Stacy's fav luggage box! SO sorry stacy, it's really not my fault! Although u dun blame me, I still feel v guilty. I can only compensate with a box of tai yang bing =P)

ALrite, anw the thing is tt i rem tt my sis wanna buy me a b'day gift and was cracking her head over wad to buy. BINGO! Get her to buy for me la! Since it's not too ex, and it's green her fav colour and she can share it wid me! But when I called her, she was quite reluctant and kept giving alot of excuses not to buy it! ANGRY! >=( I dun understand! She wanted to see the design but her fone cldnt d\l my mms! ARGH!!! Everything jus didn't go smoothly n it was getting late, I dunwanna travel back hall so late at night! Haiz! In the end, i jus gave it a miss n felt angry wid my sis! b4 i left home she even said tt she wanna gimmi $ to get wadever I like! Wad's wrong wid her? =< I had to part with sth i like once agn. Rem tt pair of red shoes tt I wanted was the 1st miss?

Yup tt's the end of my shitty encounters for the day! I really do feel better aft rattling...

Our original plan was to purchase WanPing's new phone after our volunteering at YCK MINDs. Aft dinner, we headed down to Singtel and she happily bought her dream phone wid 3G! Ahaha but she nd sometime to get used to the new phone!
